Welcome to St. Cloud Blue Sox Baseball
The St. Cloud Travel Baseball Association (SCTBA) was founded in 2006 (and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2008) to give area youth an opportunity to challenge themselves, improve their skills, and grow as individuals through competitive baseball.
What started as a single 11U team in 2006 has grown into a premier travel program—with nearly 1,000 players having worn the Blue Sox uniform since our inception!

What We Offer

Competitive & Affordable: High-caliber travel baseball for ages 7 to 19 that remains accessible and budget-friendly for local families, with financial assistance available if needed.

Focused Skill Development: Designed for kids who want to experience a higher level of competition and structured growth beyond recreational (house) leagues.

League & Tournament Play: Our teams compete in the Gopher State Baseball League against surrounding communities, in addition to playing in three weekend tournaments each season.

Proven Track Record: Since 2006, Blue Sox teams across various age levels have consistently qualified for and won local tournaments as well as State Championships.
Our Mission & Player Development
Our primary goal is to place every player who wants to participate on a team suited to their current skill level. From there, our coaching staff focuses on fundamental growth, discipline, and personal development in a fun, positive environment.
We take pride in building the foundation for future success—you’ll find many former Blue Sox players continuing their careers on local St. Cloud high school rosters and beyond!
Who's eligible to play Blue Sox Baseball?
We play in the Gopher State Baseball League, which is a community based league. All players must live in the St. Cloud city limits or attend a St. Cloud school. 742 Public, Private, or Charter schools qualify. However, if your home community does not have a Gopher State team, you are eligible to play Blue Sox baseball. Additionally, if you are cut from another Gopher State community, you are eligible. Waivers are also available.
