Blue Sox players working hard to prepare for the 2020 season! Open practices ran from 6:30 to 7:30 pm every Tuesday and Thursday at Mash Baseball, from January thru March. All current players and prospective players were welcome to attend!

The St. Cloud Travel Baseball Association (SCTBA) began in 2006 (incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2008) as an initiative to provide St. Cloud area youth an opportunity to challenge themselves to become better baseball players, better athletes, and better people by playing competitive baseball.
The Blue Sox are a competitive travel baseball program for kids who want to experience a higher level of competition, furthering their development while having fun in a disciplined environment. This is not a recreational (house) league. Our teams play surrounding communities in league play in addition to playing 3 weekend tournaments. The Blue Sox have experienced tremendous growth since 2006 when we fielded one 11U team.
The Blue Sox compete in the Gopher State Baseball League, providing St. Cloud area kids their most competitive and challenging baseball experience. Since 2006, our teams have qualified for and won tournaments and state championships at many age levels. Our goal is to get every kid who wants to play Blue Sox baseball on a team, playing at a level suited for them. From there our coaches will take over and work on development. You will find many former Blue Sox players on St. Cloud high school teams and beyond!

Who's eligible to play Blue Sox baseball?
We play in the Gopher State Baseball League, which is a community based league. All players must live in the St. Cloud city limits or attend a St. Cloud school. 742 Public, Private, or Charter schools qualify. However, if your home community does not have a Gopher State team, you are eligible to play Blue Sox baseball. Additionally, if you are cut from another Gopher State community, you are eligible. Waivers are also available.
If this all sounds confusing, you're right, it can be. Feel free to reach out to a board member with any questions by clicking the "Contact" link at the top of the page.
